Refreshing Watermelon Mint Agua Fresca

Vegan-Refined Sugar Free- Dairy Free

Refreshing Watermelon Mint Agua Fresca is the perfect summer beverage. Few things are more refreshing on a hot summer day than a slice of chilled watermelon. Except, perhaps, if you blend it, chill it, flavor it with mint and sweeten it with honey. 



Served over ice this “fresh water” is guaranteed to sooth and rehydrate you. 

My mum used to add Rooh Afza but I don’t, you can also skip the honey if your watermelon is very sweet.

Ingredients:

  • 4 cups Watermelon – you will want to get the juiciest, most ripe one you can find.
  • 6-8 fresh mint leaves
  • Juice of 1 lime {optional}
  • 1 teaspoon honey {optional- leave out for Vegan option}
  • Splash of Rooh Afza {optional}
  • 1 Cup cold water 
  • Mint sprigs for garnish
  • Watermelon stick/spear as garnish

  • Blend everything together and garnish with mint sprig and a watermelon spear.
